I need more Modest Mouse. anyone have a CD they want to lend(/up for) me?

also [livejournal.com profile] thevignette's Shatter/Shuffle is one of my favorite fics of all time, particuarly for the 2PM fandom. I've realized lately that I love love stories that make me cry.

on another story note, I reread the big book of American folktales we have, and I think I'm going to post some. especially The Peculiar Such Thing because it still makes me shit my pants. SO SCARY D:

I had a book of folktales called Cut From The Same Cloth when I was young, all about the heroines of folklore and mythology. It was pretty badass. You know, if you're looking for more reading like that.

I know what you mean about loving stories that make you cry. I do the saaaame thing. ♥

I think some of it is having some beautiful thing that is slowly being destroyed and you can't stop it. Or something. But my favorite books, movies, buffy episodes, all ones where it's just like "but but noooooo". Have you seen Cinema Paradiso? Good movie, Italian with subtitles. So sad at the end but really beautiful.

idk what you mean :D

lol no, I meant like we tend to have different tastes in things, but I actually really like this. idk.
