lol that looks like the most bizarre poem ever.
do any of you have/know of a song that's about people just sort of jumping into bed without knowing each other (and then it works out (sort of) and they form a relationship from it, but that's not...quite as important)? I have this mix that I've been working on since like August that is stuck on like two songs and while I think I may have figured out one of them the other is just not working and yeah. I would appreciate your help.
on the other hand, on the mix front, I have two that are done (except for album art, although one of those is just because of how perfectionist and paranoid I am) and ready to be posted. although I still don't know why I'm doing this lol.

Dec. 10th, 2009 04:08 pmjust as a random note I now have a listography and a tumblr (links in the sidebar), which I will hopefully be using more than my LJ because I feel like I post too much random shit that nobody cares about here. so yeah. I haven't/won't be disappearing or anything.
also I have been listening to "Butterfly Caught" by Massive Attack on repeat and it's sort of making me want to cry. the music video is intense. the makeup in it makes me giddy though, I love shit like that. (like in X2, Nightcrawler's scarification? yeah.)

I've been a horrible LJ friend lately, I apologize :/ I've been checking my fpage regularly but I haven't had much time to do it on the actual computer and the programs I use on my phone either don't work or take entirely too much time to do so. so yes.
the only real newsworthy thing is that if Leron gets an iPhone like he plans to he says he'll give me his iTouch! I feel sort of guilty taking stuff from him when I never give him anything in return, but he offered, so.... idk, does that make me a bad person? I feel like I never reciprocate anything for anyone :/
besides that, I've been thoroughly enjoying the mixes I've downloaded lately, and I've been relistening to the ones I made over the summer and actually rather liking those too. still stuck on my love songs one, but whatever. also I need to post them, I actually ended up making a community after all ;; but yeah. I'm just going to rec my three favorites because I've been listening to them pretty much nonstop.

Oct. 11th, 2009 08:39 amI made a whole entry about my upcoming week and how I am so incredibly fucked for everything and etc. but LJ ate it :[ so to sum up: mom gone Mon-Thurs, TOK presentation Weds, dad here Fri-Sun, SRHS Spectacular (@Hillsboro) Saturday, EE due next Mon. WOOHOO.
also I'm completely blocked on my love songs mix (I have all the songs, and I know the ending and the beginning, but I can't figure out what goes in between D: ) and addicted to polyvore (thankssunshineyes :| ) and this article pinpointed exactly what bothers me so much about Taylor Swift as well as echoing pretty much everything I've ever said about Miley Cyrus.
PS why am I so cold all the time :[ does poor circulation account for everything, or just how my hands and feet are constantly freezing? (idk what else it could be though, it isn't like I have a shortage of fat :| )

All Time Low's cover of Rihanna's "Umbrella" (101 plays) :| my top 25 most played actually aren't that representative of my favorite songs or even what I choose to listen to most: these are the songs that, when they come up in shuffle, I'm most likely to stop and listen to. except "Umbrella" because I don't want it to be my most played anymore :|
( AND BECAUSE I KNOW YOU WERE WONDERING. except not. lol it's such fail, idek how all my favorite kpop songs got up there so fast. )

Sep. 3rd, 2009 03:58 pmI've been reading a lot of fairy tales/mythology lately (and really they're the same thing; it's just that we don't have multiple gods), and I got Neil Gaiman's Smoke And Mirrors yesterday. I had this song (and other like it) on repeat for "The Goldfish Pond and Other Stories" because it fit really well and I need an excuse to share it because seriously this soundtrack is amazing. I'm also posting one of the stories from the book because it's amazing and only 100 words (102 if you count the title).
