I'm really bored and HandBrake hates me and Burn Notice makes me want to go to Miami and ugh my life is so blah.

btw, CA on Saturday for two weeks and then (most likely, nothing's been announced yet afaik) band camp for another two plus my sister's bday party on the 15th. jsyk.

yeah, life is pretty bleh.

to my dad's house, which is in the San Jose area. but we may be going to his friend's beach house in Santa Cruz? idk for sure yet.

I hate the suburbs too :(

because I'm not going to do much in California either. it's not that exciting.

the suburbs wouldn't be half as bad if I could drive (and, more importantly, if I had a car) and/or if the bus routes were at all convenient. as it is, I have to take the bus like an hour to get anywhere, generally with a few transfers along the way :/ it's irritating.

I thought that band camp was for sure reduced. I don't think it's going to be two weeks again. I remember Head talking about a meeting with the band directors where they decided that they were all taking band too seriously. (Not actually what he said. They were spending too much money, putting too much unpaid time into it, blah blah blah, but same thing, basically.)

they said they were putting too much unpaid time into it and that they wouldn't be doing it at all if they weren't getting paid for it. the fact that we have marching band this year makes me think that they are, in fact, getting paid, but idk for sure. I wish he'd just announce it :| do we even know what our show is yet?

Nope. I still think it's between the Illusion show and the Latin show.

ugh, we better not do a Latin show. the only time I've ever been impressed by one of those is when Aloha (?) did the really hardcore one where they danced all over the field.

I think it was Aloha. But yeah. A Latin show sounds really stupid. Plus, it's overplayed a lot.

I think Head's idea with the twins on colourguard appearing and disappearing was a better shot.

exactly. there'll probably be at least two other Latin shows, I don't want to be the third.

that would be really cool. idk how we'd do it, but....
