I think I read that THIS IS THE SEASON, but I can't find or remember where.
I really like him better in the political plot than the romance plot. I don't think they could (or would) get rid of him entirely though. Unless they do a spinoff where he moves to bigger badder New Orleans, it could be called "Bill". /gratuitous snark /obvious similarity is obvious
Jason is pretty much just there for the writers to kick, I think. First season everyone thinks he's a killer, end of second season he is and half of the third he can't stop thinking about it.
